Anyone collect guitars out there ? I have 2 Tye Dye Les Pauls...#19 and #69...

I have 6 Strats, and a Les Paul... nothing really old or collectible, but all US models. I've always been a Fender guy, but the Les Paul is a pretty amazing piece. Its a Cherryburst Classic and has tone like a LP should. I got it for a graduation gift, and have played it maybe a half dozen times. My dad bought me a brand new black '83 Strat when I was 8 years old that I still have today. I used to be pretty serious about learning to play when I was younger, but now I just jam around once in awhile for kicks. I bought Don Yenko's '69 Twin Reverb amp at SCR1, which will still rattle the windows and annoy the neighbors at will.

For pure sound I use my Blond 70's Gibson Les Paul Deluxe the sound is incredible and for leads and fun I use a 60's Fender Strat. The Strats are so much lighter than the Les Pauls and are a ton of fun. I also have a couple old Fender Twin Reverbs, Some Marshall Stacks, and lots of Crates. I also have about 50 old effects boxes, remember the good ol MXR distortions? I still use them and I hear there worth a few bucks now. The new programable boxes are pretty cool as you can create any sound you want...

LOL, I guess he's a Reverend now He's pretty good, When he played at a bar down the street here he came with a posse of about 200 bikers, you could here them for miles..He's famous for "Shot Time" which is stopping in the middle of a song yelling Shot Time and everybody does a shot. After 10 or 12 songs everybody is getting hammered

I used to have a black / gold Les Paul, 1965 vintage. Traded it straight across for a 1948 Dodge pickup. If anybody has an old beater LP from the 60's I'm interested, I think I will start plinkin around again in my old age..

Bob, here's the best TYA album
Best song was "Goin' Home" played live at Woodstock..

How about Johhny Winter? "Good morning little school girl"
