WOW! Bill you have the whole article? That's about what it's gonna look like. Man the slots are convicing on this car.

Here's the text--it was a one page feature. The engine shot goes with the other photo I posted earlier. Article comes from the Car Craft Camaro Celebration #4, 1980.

Hey Belair, you heard of Bob Pfeiffer?

More eye candy, this from the Car Craft Camaro Celebration #1, 1979.

15x10 Cragars in back, 15x3.5 Centerlines up front. Snorkel scoops are okay, especially when they're stuffed with a tunnel ram and Holleys, or a blower, but I still think the L88 hood is the way to go for a street-driven Day 2 street machine.

Here's another favorite of mine from the CC Camaro Celebration 1, 1979.

All right, now I have to dig out the magazine that I have that has the "Green Meanie"... my all time favorite '70 Camaro's... actually, the article calls it "The Mint".

The "green meanie" Z30 Motion built car was a '69. Let's see "the mint"

Check my user gallery for more photos, including the first 3 pages of the article (6 pages total... got tired of scanning).

I bought that Camaro special issue when it came out in 1982 (I was 20) and that's where I first learned about the Baldwin-Motion SS 427 Camaros. I have been a Stinger hood fan ever since. Still got that mag in my bookcase too.

We're the same age then (20 in 82)... I have had that issue since it was new as well, sitting on my bookshelf... "The Mint" has always been my favorite in that magazine. I have a Stinger hood for my '68 Camaro... should have pictures of it all together real soon now. When I'm "done" with my '68 Camaro, and done with the engine transplant in my Motion Maco, then I plan on getting a 70 Camaro to have fun with.

Not trying to stir up the old "East vs. West" styling controversy but "The Mint" was my first glimpse of how the guys back east did it. I thought it was way over the top back in 1982.

Marty Schorr would call those tires "gigonda."
