I don't like the letter/number Font on his window sticker at all.
It doesn't come close to a match of a 1968 w/s I have here. I agree,as others have already stated,it does not look authentic. |

There is no question about the window sticker, it is a reproduction, probably from AAA. I have lots of factory paperwork in my files that has been collected over the years, I have the original 1969 window sticker from my '69 Indy Pace car and 1967 big block Corvette. The fonts are completely different as the ID number of the car (468104). All GM "O" are squared off. The fonts are that of the AAA reproduction window stickers. Trouble is that everyone is getting used to seeing these and they think they are ligitimate. This is not an original window sticker and serves no documentation value. I will not speak about the car as I have not seen it. The value of the window sticker is $20 as that is what AAA charges.

Mr T, are you sure thats an original sticker for your 69? Unless CA window stickers are alot different than Norwood ones, it looks like it's hand-typed. Any originals I have seen have the end portion of the VIN ink-stamped.

Joe, I got the window sticker from the original owner in 1986. He told me that he saved it when he bought the car. He swore to me that it was original.

Repo houses have been selling blank window stickers since at least 1980 or so. It look like your was typed up by the original owner. I tried doing the same for my car back in 1980, but i screwed it all up. That is not an original sticker.

Looks like we have an honest seller on this car. Check out his revisions.

Very pleasant guy to deal with.
I pointed out that the WS wasn't real and he immediately said he'd update the auction. Miles ahead of alot of ebay sellers in honesty! I think he has a pretty rare car, but nothing to document with. Bummer.....
