It looks like there was only one LB Yenko Camaro sold in Iowa in 69 from Friedley Olds, Cedar Fall Vin# 124379N614579, it was a 4-speed car as well. Did you get the Vin number Joe???? Mark

[/ QUOTE ]

My brother in law knows the owner of the LB Freidley car. It is another original owner car and is in North Eastern Iowa, he doesn't get it out much from what I can tell. The guy used to run late models here and has some connection to the ZL1 motor that Anders got here in Iowa. I don't think the owner has a price that the car could be bought for. Really a car guy who loves his Yenko! Nice to see!

I think this car has been to a few SCR's? Like last years, and raced?

Racefan and ohhawk are talkin' about the same guy...not sure if Donny actually raced/owned a late model roundy-round car, but he at least follows them heavily, and makes an annual trip down here to this part of the world every Labor Day to a big race in Batesville...in fact, I think he told me at SCR7 that was first time in like 30-some years he'd NOT been to that race on Labor Day!

I don't know, both are very cool cars, and both raced at SCR7 - where else can you get confused about which blue yenko camaro from Iowa was racing at the drag strip, not to mention all the other yenko's and supercars flying down the 1320!

Who's on first and what's his name is on second? I read this page of the thread 4 times and I'm still not sure I've figured it out. I can tell you the car I saw was owned by a gentleman located in Des Moines (not NE Iowa) according to his display. That I am sure of. I am less sure of my recollection of all the data I looked at on the car but I thought his display indicated it was also purchased at an Iowa dealership and the Cedar Falls location seems to ring a bell. The owner's initials are D.W.
