Now that you say that though That really doesnt make any sense... I wonder why that would be on the title.. When he had the title transferd into his name even the new title had it on there.. conversion yenko.

Does Yenko appear on both titles as part of the model name not the registered owner?

I have seen DMV title info from certain states that will contain 'Yenko' in some format. Unusual, but not impossible.

I have seen all kinds of crazy stuff on titles. If you put it in the box and it looked official, the clerk at the desk would just type it in. They usually didn't know or care. Same today. I took my orig 32 Ford to the AAA for a vin verif to correct a problem and the young lady came out and saw the vin and then asked me where the emissions sticker was. Case closed.
