Hey Motown, is that Peter Klut(Legendary Motorcars & Dream Car Garage) standing in the background of picture 3? Did they have this car at one point in time?

Jeff,
They were there but not for #66. They came down to deliver the 69 BM LS7 to the owner who was there with the 69 Yenko Nova. The LS7 was parked outside the gate as plans were not made to have it included in the display.

For Fun QUESTION:

If you had $100,000 to spend at Barrett-Jackson, what # car would you be bidding on?

Barrett-Jackson auction list

I'll answer after I peruse the list!

No question in my mind, it would be this one.

426 1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO COPO COUPE NO RESERVE
Owned by Ed Cunneen.

$100,000 would get me started on the bidding, but it wouldn't get me very far!

I would have to have either #426.1, 69 COPO Chevelle, or # 396, 68 Chevelle SS396 L89 Convertible. I might have to add a couple dollars.

After seeing that car in my showroom for over 9 years, it pains my butt to see Charley sitting in it to. That is one car I regret selling. It was joined by my Blue 71 Hemi 4 speed convertible for a good part of a year before I sold it. But keeping both would've prevented me from chasing other cars I was seeking.

I don't think they are owned by Ed. I think they are verified as COPOs by Ed...
