Drive it you bet. Especially past the original owner's house. He has my blessing to drive it anytime he wants though.

Well, my car isn't a "SUPER CAR" but it is a Super Car and NO, that would be my response to the question at hand. But....and here comes the speech.... I always get a kick out of those who say, "what fun is it to not drive it" or similar statements. I say, Who are you to decide what is FUN for me or anyone else who CHOOSES not to drive their collector car. Ask anyone who knows me or anyone who has been at a CAR SHOW with me...ask them if Mike has FUN with his car YOU BET I DO!! It may be a different kind of fun than you have, but it is Fun for me... I enjoy Showing my car...showing it to everyone and anyone, talking with people at the show from the minute I arrive to the minute I leave. Then there is the on-line Bulletin Boards, like this, E-mails and the tech questions that I answer about 66 and 67 Chevelle SS's, and all the many friends I have b/c of my car...all of this brings me FUN...different than the FUN you have, but it is FUN for me. Don't get me wrong, I know the FUN you speak of...Driving these cars., I had my share....and it is a lot of FUN! But for now, I choose Showing the car and enjoying the conversation that I get because of it.
Sorry for the soap box Fellas....atleast nobody used that Deadly Word...."Trailer Que___n" Oooh I hate that one |

Looks like you wouldn't want to drive that one Mike.....but if you ever sell it,drive it thru a mud puddle so the next guy won't feel as guilty !Its much easier to drive someone elses restoration than when you sweat a few years and paid to do it yourself.
