69rsss350 you seem to have a dilema and I would like to help.My family has been around the car business for a long time. You meet all kinds of people.People that know me know that I will give you the shirt off of my back, but make me mad and I'll shut you off.I've learned sometimes that is not always a wise decision.I've burned bridges with some people on this sight because I didn't like their attitude.I wanted to get away from this supercar deal altogether. But after being away awhile I missed alot of the people I did get along with.Ilearned you have to accept people the way they are not the way you want them to be.This site needs as much positive input as it can get, from everybody!!!Whether you own a super car or not I would like to hear anybody's positive input.Knowone ever knows when you might be the guy that locates a car or a part or info someone desperatly needs. So hang in there like my dad always says let it roll off your shoulder.P.S I still get po'd.Remember guys

Ownership of a Super Car is not,nor ever has been a prerequsite to membership and interaction on this Site, but the appreciation and passion for them should be.

All cars are even invited to participate at the Reunion.

I think that Redeuce is now my Favorite Guy on this site and can stay even though he has no Supercar. Actually, I don't think ownership is a requirement. You just gotta like these cars. Copolocater..Can you wear a nice soft extra large shirt to the Reunion that I can use to wipe off my cars with ?

Holy Cow!!
What are you talking about 69rsss?? I merely offered another board that deals with your specific topics on a daily basis, and those members have more experience in switching to 400 sb's etc... It had NOTHING to do with any requirements of owning a supercar. Personally, I like to hear topics about supercars, from anyone with a keyboard, so I come here. If I wanted to hear about LS6 cars, I would go to the Chevelle site, Z28's? I'd go to the Camaro site - simple as that. That LS6 Rag saga just didn't belong here when there is a perfectly good forum on Team Chevelle. There is no reason to move or shutdown a topic like that, but when the instigator for that topic turned out to be from another site, then I think the debate has to switch over there.

I believe this site and it's members will help anyone who asks, regardless of what they own. That is how cars get found, and the hobby stays exciting. Most of us realize that in order to help, you need information. When we ask for info/supply info, it is not because we want to take advantage of people, but rather to compare with other pieces of info and learn something new. That is exactly how we figured out the blocks of body numbers, colors, & option groupings for the '70 COPO Novas - about 40 guys gave me their car's info, all for a good cause. We all get frustrated at times with the various people in the hobby, but like another member put it, 'I take it seriously, but not personally'. Wise perspective from someone who has been into this a lot longer than I

OK My $.02. I have not been a member very long. I do not own a supercar, as my name states,(far from it) But some day, I hope, with the information from this site, I will have the knowledge to purchase one. All the posts that I have resopnded to have been meet with nothing but courtsey and interest in helping. I guess you can't please all of the people all of the time. To who it may concern:I am nobody, now that we have that understood,I looked in my personal important phonebook your # wasn't there.I don't remember running up to you and introducing myself at a show ,just to listen to you speak on the knowledge of supercars and hang on every word.I don't even know what you look like. I think that makes us more alike than you thought .Have a nice day.

I think he just read Marlin's post the wrong way. It's real easy to misread posts on message boards. It's even harder to detect sarcasm.
