Paint code 26 is also Pontiac Lucerne Blue, the 1970 Trans Am color.

Hey Tod just picture this car all done.
Photos below has a Fathom blue SS with white stripes and white bucket seats just to give you a feel, yours will have a bench seat though. The photo under that is a Mulsanne Blue SS with black stripes and black bench seat interior to show the difference in the color. But imagine this car with white instead of the black, would look sweet.

Danny,
Thanks for the pics. I spoke to the selling dealer again and they do not have any documentation on the car. I am doing a title history on the car and hopefully track down the original drivetrain for the car. I bought the car just 30 miles from where it sold new so I am sure it is probably still around the area in someone's garage. |

They are out there as many have said - don't think any of them will be advertising themselves so armed with a little knowledge, a keen eye and some patience it could happen to any of us. This car was purchased to be a donor for an LS pro touring car.
I have gotten several messages about selling the car. Being that I do not have the technical expertise to restore the car the way it should be done I will consider selling it. Just send me a pm and we could discuss. I would really love to see the car go into the hands of someone that will return it to its former glory. |
