I know this is another long shot but the car has the orginal fenders on it. I see orange paint still on them not saying when it was new they where change but the car was black by 73 did X44 cars have motor size on the front of the marker lights thease fenders have not been drilled yet thanks to elonblock pointing that out to me.T [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img]he fenders should have build weeks stamped on them

Hasn't factory grease pencil 427 markings been found written on the inside of some known 9561 original front fenders too?.

That should've read.. That's a cool looking camaro,with some great possble potential to be even more. |

Thanks for all the help guys .Maybe someone here can answer this question the car is a X44 standard Camaro what size motors could you get in them.Could you get a 396 in them.

Nick Morocco's old Yenko chevelle has "427" grease penciled on the grille valiance as well.
