I agree, that car is killer in the original livery. This has been a great thread for many reasons. Mostly for the forthrightness of the car and its history. The paperwork and photos make the car.

Now yer talkin. Not sure if it applies here, but in that time frame it wasn't uncommon to hear the term "that's a big friggen Zulu". Usually ment big and or unusual. I used to deer hunt with my Grandfathers old Montgomery Wards shot gun. Had a long barrel, and held 7 shells. We called it the Zulu queen. |
