My copy showed up in the mail yesterday and it was the first thing I opened up too. I have heard about beating your own drum, but I was quite impressed to see that Sam wrote the article and that it was one of the better written articles I have read in quite a while. Congrats on one of the best looking examples of a day 2 street beast!!!!!!

Sometimes beating your own drum is the only way to get things heard. Nothing wrong with beating the drum as long as you can still put your hat on and it fits......Sam did a great job on this one!

Sam, I haven't seen the article yet but I'm sure it's well done like the others you have written. Congrats! This is one of the nicest Day 2 cars out there.

Just got done reading the article too. Excellent job Sam! Start to finish it was a great read. The way you ended it had a nice subtle nudge to encourage more Day 2 coverage. I hope it catches on, but am fearful that it never will since Day 2 parts really benefit only a few of the advertizers. None-the-less, I trust you are proud of the coverage and cudos for giving the stry such depth.

Chris/Paul - appreciate the feedback! I hope it catches on too. As I recently mentioned here, this whole day-two thing will be made or broken by feedback from the readers. So, send your comments to Terry McGean, the HMM editor tmcgean@hemmings.com and let him know what you think!!

That sure IS a nice thing to do Chris!
