Not quite as vintage as all those but I think still pretty cool. My tow rig back in the day.

Have pictures w that car and its tow rig ( same thing before chop ) back in 1970 also
15 k on the car still . Sold the truck sadly. Miss it dearly. 402 Big block.

Same car and truck 1970 before extensive modification on the truck (side note I didn’t know the same truck had been used to build my tow vehicle til after I’d sold it).
Paint in the car was done by the same person who painted Paul Newman’s race cars BTW

Truck was done by Gary’s of Bristol auto body in the 70s
Paint in the car was done in 69 and 70 by “woody” Wayne wood who panted many famous race cars.

Thought you guys would enjoy the paint part of the story.

From Amarillo Dragway in the early 70s ... Chadwick had gotten to the track late and was pressed for time. We were parked next to his pit and when he started unloading the car, crap it the rotating oscillator. He had taken the chutes to the cleaners and when he started unpacked the chutes were in a balled mess. A friend of mine and I told him we could straighten them out and he said OK.
