The Drag-Dimension decals look really great on the Trac-bars!.
It's details like this that add up and make the Roof Deuce what it is, CL!!!

I haven't compared them w/ the original on my toolbox yet but thanks for the new DD decals you laid on me Al!.
Great to meet you in person too and I hope you enjoy the original Thrush hat!.

On Curly's Fiat, I may be wrong but am pretty sure he told me once that the Drag-Dimension paintjob went on the car temporarily when he was in some sort of disagreement w/ the Karbelt sponsors so not necessarily previous to as noted above nor later either, maybe in-between?.

Here's a couple more shots of the car, another in DD paint also check the bottom picture from Wheelspin as it shows the front weights that slid side to side and locked, one of the subtle details Curly would adjust to suit different tracks, conditions and feel..

I've never gotten to the bottom of the different roof cuts seen in any pictures over the years so there may've been more than one body used?.

RIP Curly!.

I saw a pair of this type of traction bar at Carlisle last week, couldn't remember if they were the same as the Roof Deuce or not... they had a rubber stopper in that little cage thingy....

Nope - wasn't sure if they were the same, I didn't see a provision for the rear sway bar attachment and I forgot how the Roof's version incorporated the bar. Still had the rubber thingy in them. Coulda, woulda, shoulda!!

Wayne B's request for Deuce stories for "Nova Times" gave me an excuse for taking some more snap shots. I found this tractor repair shop just a couple of miles from my home and thought it would make a rugged background to contrast with the luscious flanks of the Nova. The skies cooperated with some interesting clouds. Here are some outtakes from the photo shoot...

Sam, those are some awsome shots! I don't know which photos I like the best. The desert, or these?? The Ansens and just a hint of the chrome exhaust tips looks sweet. Such a beautiful resto and car. I'm so glad that the car came from PA and was restored.
