Larry, with the weight of the car it can go D/SA or E/SA with a 402 combo. There it could be very competive.

[ QUOTE ]
If anyone has any info or pics of RE from back in the day, please share. Bob Hamilton and family raced in and around the NJ area, mostly NHRA, in the hotly contested SS/DA class until the mid '70s, at which time they moved to the Bradenton, FL area. Bob has since passed away, but son Robert Hamilton, JR is supposed to be living in the NE someone. If anyone knows him, or other family members, we would love to speak to them.

Tom,
One of the members of this board is associated with Englishtown Raceway. Just a suggestion on finding a little more information, Andrew H. could have access to some information and pictures of this car in action? Just a thought you may have already checked, but just wanted to mention? Neat car with a neat history.

Thanks for all of the nice comments.

I have one of the AMT models, but if anyone out there runs across others, please pick it up for me. Also, am looking for a pair of Motor Wheel Spyders for the rear.

Default Awesome score Tom...!

All I got is the diecast model...you got the real thing!

And yes I'll agree...a Cranberry Red w/Black stripes '70 is the zenith of Chevy High Performance.!
