![]() That is just absolutely stunning. I could only imagine the looks on people's faces when that bad azz ride hit the showroom. The restoration is awesome. ![]() MB |

It doesn't get much better than a black/blue 435 Coupe. Beautiful Car. One of the nicest restored 67's I have seen.

I thought you would like to see this picture. Not mine nor do I know the owner but it was entered for flight judging at the 2007 NCRS National in Boston. ![]() -Dave |

Steve or Chris could probably verify this, but I believe that the dealer painted the black coupe blue to sell it when it was new. I can't believe that this pretty color combination was hard to sell, but it may have been.

I'll always have sellers remorse. Chased my black blue car for 10 years, then overspent on it.

I can't believe that this pretty color combination was hard to sell, but it may have been. [/ QUOTE ] Tim, I was told that for some reason that the car sat unsold for many months. It was then painted blue and the car sold I have to admit that I do miss the car but it is still close by and is in very good hands. I had been chasing the car that I currently own for several years so when it became available I had to let this one go. In a perfect world I would have loved to have kept both but I have no regrets at all. Paul, it was a pleasure helping you find your J56 car, glad your happy with it. Here is a pic of my and Chris' old car. ![]()

Steve, is your blk/blue car a 435? A buddy has one that is not one of the known four, bought it new, still has it.

I can't understand why that color combo wouldn't sell in 1967 its beautiful I have never seen it before I love it.

Although I remember my father taking me to see these Vettes at the Chevy dealership when they were new and I don't remember them coming from the factory anywhere near that nice? My father ended up buying a 427 Impala thinking it was a better value then the "high priced" Vette at the time. That is a spectacular resto on that car holy cow. |

I would l love to see your friends car and if it is for sale I would be interested if it is a no stories car. The coupe is a 435. Les, Thanks for the compliment, it is a truly stunning Corvette. I am glad it went to a good home.
