Agreed. When I was going after this car I mailed the owner a disposable camera and he took the pictures! I was not too happy with pics when I first saw them. I have pictures with him and his buddy next the car!

Were any stolen from any of the dealerships??

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, not very many were stolen off the dealer lots, but there were some. However, there were a few '69 Yenko Novas that were stolen from the original owners.

I wonder if Wallace added those front and rear bumper guards too?

Nope, day 2 items like the door guards. Simple bolt-on's like these are expected with a 34 yr old car! When you get a car like this one, ya just leave it alone

I suspect they were chrome plated stick ons...like most all Deuces got. All the easier for thieves to walk off with.

Deuces all have double sided tape on their emblems, so no holes. The holes in the decklid were from the NOVA emblem.

It is unclear about the DEUCE decal on the hood, it may never have been installed. I believe it's still in the glove box.

A big thanks goes out to Marlin for orchestrating the deal.

The owner was sad to see it go, but he got one last 'memorable' drive. I'm waiting for TommyK to hopefully relay that story himself
