The most recent edition of Hot Rod has 10 or so renderings of possible styling/concept treatments of the GTO. The best one of them in my opinion is a slicked up Judge tribute. Starts to make the car look tough again...

Seen that--They're getting there-"tough look" --If they're gonna use the GTO name they've got to give the car image also, or call it something else---

The '04 rocks that is for sure..! I do agree that the thing should not be called a GTO. Of course I am sorta HO HUM about all these litte cars. It needs to look more like the T-bird in size and stance with a more GTO stylized front end.
It could be too easy to mistake it for just another entry level commuter car. not different enough when you see it in a parking lot with other cars its size. but then I kinda like the VW remake too. They did a great job on it. Same with the T-bird and 54 Chev truck.

Well the mags today carried the first photos and the vents are in. New rear dual exhaust and bigger brakes.
Will be intersting how it is perceived. Pretty sure it will be heading your way soon. |
