Isn't that Don Cossey's Fury? I seem to remember that car from back in the early NMCA days?

Yep, Dave (NeatSS) was there...BUT, the question isn't what did HE run, but what did his WIFE run?!?
And better yet, who has the better reaction times in the family?!? ![]() Yes, we were there and had a great time! The car performed perfectly running consistent 14.90's all weekend. The poor old Chevelle turned 175K on the way to the track Saturday and we rewarded it with over 30 passes that weekend. Reid road along on as many of those passes as he could. This was Deb's first time ever on the track. On the third pass she cut a .505 light. The rest of the weekend she pretty well had .500 something lights. She won her shootout with .512 .483 .571 lights Yeah, its true, I've been racing in this event since '96 and have never scored a "W" without the sandbagger rule. I'll try harder in September!! Maybe she will give me a few pointers! ![]() |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I pitted right next to Don @ Norwalk...and he is probably the only Pure Stock racer whose tow rig/trailer combo is bigger than mine! My wife saw his motorhome and said if we got one of those, she'd LIVE at the racetrack! And to add more confusion, Jeff Petersen (the *other* black Fury) ran NMCA/NSCA for a while as well. Hey Pete: do you remember what ET/MPH Cossey ran @ Norwalk last year? I was too busy playing tranny guy to see much racing... ![]() |

I still feel bad about not taking Reid down the track in the yellow Submarine...next time, tell him to just come up and slap me and tell me to get in the friggin' car! |

Rob... Don was having a lot of problems that day. 12.6 was around his best. Every time he hit second gear he did a lane change
I don't think he was enjoying it! I took my kid down the track on a 12.3 pass and got $hit Suppose to take passengers only if ya went slower than 14.0! Who knew?????? ![]() Peter

Pure Stock is the way To Rock
![]() What an awesome event, got back last night after spending 4 additional days on Michigan's western shore in Grand Haven. The racing was excellent as always, and it was very cool to put some faces with some names - even that Casey guy ![]() The LT1 Vette was a killer car, what an amazing time from the Ragin Cajin!
