Rob, it's Blind Faith with Eric Clapton, song was by Stevie Winwood. I remember the 8-track had a white plastic case; most of them were black. Played it on my Pioneer Super Tuner under dash stereo...

But you know those musicians formed and broke and reformed into a number of groups, the first Clapton group I remember is the yardbirds, which also included Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck - three of the best guitarists in the sixties.

Bel Air, check out the attachment for the Shoot Out at the Fantasy Factory album cover..

I think the first cube they didwas Low Spark of High Heeled Boys....Don't ask why but the one member of Traffics name that has stuck in my head all these years was the percussionist...not the drummer...anyone remember his name ?

Sam:

After Belair caught my boo-boo, I dug through my cd's and realized my mistake! DOH! Clapton sure got around...Yardbirds, John Mayall, Derek and Dominoes, Cream, Blind Faith...all regulars in the cd player here! Winwood kind of did the same thing with Spencer Davis, Traffic, Blind Faith...good stuff! They both sat in on other well knowns like the Beatles, Hendrix, etc. Then, they both had successful solo careers...just proves how talented they were. I'd better stop there, or I'll never quit typing...

Belair
How about Jim Capaldi, or maybe Rebop Kwaku Baah. I think John Barleycorn died at the shootout
at the fantasy factory.

I was going to say that Charley....I've been trying to figure out who did a song called Ring Ring Telephone Ring..for some time now..I thought it was Delaney and Bonnie (Bramlett) but I can't find it on Kazaa or Limewire to download.I found it but it wasn't the group or person I remember. ..anyone know who did this ? Also anyone know of a website with 70's FM music lists ? Not the Top 40 stuff...
