Agree on that one.
Won't be long before there are more fakes that real, like Z/28 trim tags and DZ blocks. Sadly, Heartbeat Jim is now selling restamped 837's for $895, and claims: "This is an exact reproduction stamping on an original 1969 alternator casing. The diodes are dated correctly and all inspection markings are correct. This alternator will pass judging at national shows." Although he doesn't offer pics. Ebay 837 by HBC. This guy sells what he claims is an original for $850. I suspect it is a restamp from the same place where Jim sources his restamps. "authentic 837" Another
