To answer a general question: of the 89 Deuces found thus far, 13 are reported to have the Sport Mirror option. That's approximately 15%, higher than I would have thought. If you extrapolate that out to the full population of 175 Deuces produced.... approximately 26 Deuces were ordered with Sport Mirrors. In theory the number could/should be higher since owners were known to remove / replace them because they interfered with the wing windows.

Adam is a machine, got this done in a day, we found two interesting a fun things, first a huge rats nest complete with the mummified rat second we found 9 rivets punched into the passenger side of the inner fender well ........... what the heck? Adam, Kenny and I surmised that the rivet gun on the assembly line got jammed when installing trim pieces around the window and the assembly guy un-jammed his gun by firing a few into fender well, only to be discovered by us 44 years later .... very cool

Cool stuff. I saw this car at Skip's just after he found it. I knew sooner or later it would be properly restored. Should be a good one!!!

Glad to see this car is being restored. Is this car currently in the registry? I don't see any Cranberry Red Deuces listed as sold by Ammon R. Smith. I can't wait to see this car and the Citrus Green one at a future MCACN.
