What's as puzzling as the purchase price is ...it didn't get to 300K by itself ....there were other bidders as well. I wasn't at the auction ...did anybody know the other prospective buyers ? I wonder what Hank Aaron's first home run ball is worth compared to the one that broke the record (756?)

the auction probably pumped the bids to get to that crazy number for a camaro that was sold at yenko and not a yenko camaro. i would have watched the block but it had already established it was a cloner.

so wait a minute here.... this car actually SOLD for 300k??? ..... with a state issued VIN??...with the most ridiculous cowl tag Ive ever seen??... and no evidence whatsoever that it was anything other than a 67 Camaro that was sold from Yenko Chevrolet??... assuming this is that car?? and the description was somewhat forthcoming I guess also...

Used to own that car and sold it to Joe Z. who sold it to Holub. I am in awe, sort of. Car looks great. Should have had him sell my Nickey Camaro. Bulletproof doc'd car I just sold for 95k. I'm sick!!

12637 tag
12437 Vin
????????????
Is this "new math 101" in rewriting known facts or corresponding/ non-corresponding body info or did the owner request a hard roof apposed to a soft one vs. a misunderstanding
when "someone specifically requested the exact digits "
from the OHIO DEPT. of TRANSPORTATION at some unknown date that coincided with the release of..YS vin #,s ??????

PS....I have a Granada Gold ,w Gold buckets, non console ,327 PG. non RS in mothballs too.
