Have a friend working on a L78 69 Camaro for a gentalman right now. The guy knew nothing about Camaro's but had money and always wanted a real L78. He purchased the 69 L78 from the same guy selling the L89 rag top on ebay.
The cars was supposed to be frame-off, all original #'s car. The car is a total disaster. The vin # is also 123

He has become very educated on 69 Camaro's in the past month.

so sad, perhaps this flipper / dealer has a degree in hype, maybe he used to be a real estate salesman ... they come up with creative descriptions as well ...

passing fakes off as real is criminal and he should be prosecuted, the 69 L78 buyer should have a good case against him ...
