Yes, hot and humid! When we were there in 1976 for the NHRA SportNationals it was the same weather. That is why there is a roof on some of the bleachers! Sweaten bullets!

Racing update; Numedia raceway, weather was good. First round, had a 005. light, ran a 11.55. Won. Second round got beat. But the car is working, good.I think there;s a little bit more in the car!!!!BBBenny

Beaver Springs nostalgia meet, we got into the 3rd round, but I missed the call up. The AP system, was poor. But four events in a row, i got into the second or 3rd rounds each time. Not bad for a rookie!

NO excuses about the AP System!! The other guys made it up to the starting line. We will have to start calling you "Benny The Shoe" just like that New Yorker racer on this Site. So, like the SS/AH guys say....."Don't care about your win/loss record but how fast did you go"? So.....
