The Delco Morane stamping on the power boosters I have seen are all over the board. From very faint stampings to none at all. I have also seen the DM logo in the 2 o'clock position on unmolested low mile cars. While, not typical, they are made that way. Just like the differences in font size in the date and application code. Just to many variables during the model year to say it could only be one way. Also the pinch clamps on the PCV valve should have squared off ends. The kind that rip your finger's open square. Later style pinch clamps used a rounded end. Much more finger friendly..BKH

I have never seen any large nut shafts on any survivors or cars that I've known going back almost 40 years. Those large nut shafts were swapped out many times in the 1970s for added front end alignment adjustments.
Now that these cars are 40 years old, it's almost impossible to document one unless it's an original owner car or two owner car. Jerry |

Mine was a Baltimore car. I'll have to check the parts books and assm manual to see what is called out. Hard to believe that this would be a plant variation. All Kansas City cars that I've seen are like the Balto cars. All Camaros built at both assm plants are the same with large washers and 5/16 bolts.

Bruce,
A one owner Motion SS Chevelle with docs. Wow! Not many around like this I'm sure. Joe, did you ever race this car? I grew up 15 minutes away from Motion in N. Massapequa. Used to go over there when I was just barely a teenager. It was a happening place back then. Jerry |
