Sam, Terry(RamblerDealer) and I plan to have an F85 meeting Saturday. Look over the car.... maybe start it...... do some donuts....
I started a spread sheet, and Sam is gathering parts right off the hop. E-brake cables, suspension bushings, etc, etc. We are looking at rotisserie’s, I want to use the style that can be used to lift the. OSG off the frame as well as a typical rotisserie, and obviously will be used to put the wickedly orange body back on the beautifully detailed chassis. The car came with an extra rolling chassis which we wil use to support the body as the chassis is completed. One thing I learned on my resto is that the engine/trans can be left till later in the process so I plan to set that whole assembly aside for a while. (I want to have it rebuilt, Dyno it, and install it) Another process change I want to try this time is to break apart the front clip with the chassis as many parts can be media blasted and powder coated together as one package deal. Sam, Ranjit, Terry (RamblerDealer),and I spent the morning assessing, pulled out incorrect bucket seats and console. (Perfect to sell)
This car is untouched, every single item we could think of was in place, we verified the trans code and VIN, lots of fun. She needs lots of love :-) Ryan W31
