Nice to see the pictures of the 2 cars together. Wish I could have been there to see them in person as I am sure it was a blast.

The car was awesome. I enjoyed talking with you and all of the people at the show. I hope the paint inspection went well.

Hey thanks Freddie. Nice to finally put a face with a (user) name!!

Yes, I did get my paint analyzed at MCACN. Mike Ardito is Dana Mecum’s car collection care taker (and uber restorer) and his friend did a good (given the environment we were in) visual and paint gauge analysis of my paint. Although I thot I had more original paint, it is a relief to finally know more exactly how much there actually is. He reported to me that I have “60% or more” original paint. All horizontal surfaces (hood, roof, rear deck, fender and door tops), door jambs, hinge areas, and generally all areas above side stripes are original. The 2nd owner in his words “reshot the rocker panels” with single stage paint back in the early 90s - well that demarcation actually extended up to the level of the side stripes.

Thanks to Steve Shauger for hooking me up with Mike Ardito to do my paint analysis!

In general, I like the blemishes and imperfections of my original paint - it tells a story!!! By the way, Woj and I had fun working on our original paint prior to this show....and Meguiars 7 is our new go-to product!!!!!!
