Interesting that it was a two-tone car - Glacier Blue (light blue) with a white top. And the top trim was kept on it during the different paint iterations. What 396 was in it originally? Manual or auto originally?

Successful Australian Super Stock Chevelle raced by Australia's Peter Ridgeway in the '80's, who went on to hold multiple Super Stock and Pro Stock national records and won many Australian Championships.

Kurt, sorry for the delay in responding. The was born with a 396/350 horse 4-speed. Bill and the Duffy's gang wanted that specific combo. to run in SS/H. Back in the early 80s, I raced a '69 Chevelle in the old "Pro" bracket 11.00 -11.99 that looks very much like the Chevelle pictured above. I know the car pictured here is a '68, but my car's colors, paint scheme and entry numbers are quite similar; I'll try to post a few pictures.
