The movie "Hot Rod" is one of my personal favorites and is usually left out of many 'car movie' lists.
-'65 Hemi Dodge...engine transplanted to Gasser style Willys -'69 Olds (antagonist's car) -Tons of other great drag cars/scenes. I haven't seen it for years but I believe it's listed somewhere on Amazon.

Have we talked about Tommy Boy...with the 1967 GTX convertible (Clone , I hope) that gets destroyed all through the movie???

Have you guys noticed that in several of the movies with
David Spade ( also in Tommy Boy ), the featured car is a hemi-powered something. In Joe Dirt, a Superbird was his "car of choice" and I believe Joe Dirt was trying to get back his Hemi Satelite. I'll bet David Spade is a closet Hemi guy!

Chevrolet brought three show Corvettes to San Antonio two weeks ago including the Bill Mitchell racer. This car had a fresh restoration and looked great. It was noted in its write-up that Elvis drove this car in Clambake.
