best to go inspect it and photo every inch of it and make sure its real first, then digest what shape she is in...I recall the guy had a pretty good add, but his place just looked not so hot didnt give you that warm fuzzy fealing,

call Rick he probably knows where a done car is for 10k, there was what sounded like a neat '67 396 Custom Coupe Caprice almost a twin to my old car for 6500 done, along month ago up here, called on it but never went to look at it would probably be here if I had... it sounded like a nice driver...I think you can find one done way cheaper than doing one...

Rick , That is exactly what it looks like. I keep forgetting to get pictures of the car when I go up to Sears Point (refuse to call it Infine...) but I will get some next time for sure.That photo is a scan from a shot taken in 1986 when the vette was being restored and is the only photo I have .

Do you think it is a Caprice because of the roof line? That appears to me to be an Impala SS427 Custom Coupe not a Caprice based on the rear emblem and lack of Caprice chrome. It is the rarest of the three body styles. It would be nice to see more pictures some day if you can. Here is what one looks like. To the guys who have these cars, is the front emblem above the grille supposed to have a red bowtie or a blue one?

How are these cars to drive with manual steering?
Is there anywhere to get a new trans 4spd hump? mine is butchered beyond help.
Does anyone repop the foil red 427 decals for the side marker bezels? mine are extremely faded.
