Ed, I gotta' trickle this stuff out or I'll run out of it too fast!

As for the color, it looks like it was black. See attached photo from the October '68 Speed and Supercar magazine.

Very nice... I liked it so much I just had to "clean" it up a little...

I'm torn now between the choice of butternut yellow & black stripe and black & silver stripe.

How do you post photos that way, right in the body of the post? Is that the "photobucket" thing?

Nope... you post the image as an attachment, then view the attachment, copy the Address shown to the clipboard, then edit the message, and add the Address as an image.

Simple really

I realize I'm drifting way off topic but djunods S&S cover post got me thinking how cool it would be if there was a 'gallery' where you could post or check out old photos. I have a huge collection of old car mags (CarLife,Speed& Supercar, HotRod,CC,SS&DI,Cars Ill,C&D,R&T..etc..)from 1956 to about 1980. I keep thinking what a waste to have them sitting in storage boxes when I know there's alot of awesome photos & articles in them that could be appreciated. A neighbor began saving them at 15yrs of age then a few years ago decided he was going to throw them all away because he "didn't think anyone cared about articles on old cars anymore". When I told him I was he gave them to me so I won't sell them but I wish I could share the info they have. Friends are always asking to look thru the 'Library', even the ads are cool.

Bill,

To use photobucket...go to Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Once you've done that, then upload your pictures to photobucket. You can do them one at at time, or as many as 19 at a time!
Once they're uploaded you'll get a screen that looks like this:

All you need to do then is copy the circled IMG file and paste it into your post that you're typing and hit submit...it's that easy!
