All kidding aside Andy, she's a pretty Cool Lady with some SERIOUS cars and a tremendous amount of knowledge. Dennis Hartweg shared everything he knew/learned with Annie and she's now doing her best to keep that alive. Sit in the car? Not a problem. Just walk up and introduce yourself. You'll see why we all love her. A bunch of us give each other Crap pretty regurlarly here but it's ALL in fun. We hammer on each other because of who we are. Let someone else say something hurtful about ANY of us and they've started a war they don't even want to think about. Even Lil' Frankie is under our protection, although I won't admit it in public. Don't want him to get an even Bigger Head than he already has!!!
Overall, this site has some of the greatest and most knowledgable people in the hobby. The Clary family and a couple of others who prefer to remain somewhat anonymous are responsible for bringing all these folks together. Get to know as many of them as possible. You won't regret it, I promise.

Ah Geez Frank, look out!!!!! The old folks are turning soft on us.....must mean they have a game plan to blind side us. Now, in our own defense; do we offer them Midol or Depends first? PM me if you have any ideas.

PS Spoke with Cumby,he mentioned something about being nice to you and said he was expecting flowers in return for the kind words....I think he likes pansies the best, purple ones if I recall correctly. As for JD, I would guess pink carnations but I'll leave that up to you.

I am also a member over at chevelles.com. They have the same "family" type atmosphere there and they protect all of their own as well. I am glad I ran onto this site here as well because like you said it is the same way. Its nice to meet such a great batch of people that have all come together with one common bond from all walks of life.

Andy

Andy,

Both OrigLS6(Dennis) and Belair62 (Bob) are right on the money as far as what a fantastic group this site has attracted. We may kid and joke but we all respect one another and there are many folks here with more car knowledge than any person could ever hope to find in one place. Best of all, they are willing to share said knowledge.

It is great to have you join the site and I look forward to meeting you in Monmouth/LaHarpe at which time I will twist your arm to join us in Collinsville for the Reunion on Sept 3rd and 4th.
