Don't bother looking for the '69 as it is setting in my garage along with my white '70 Baldwin car. Have you been able to locate Mike Taylor?

Are there two people claiming to own the same car here? Is there some dispute over which is the "real" gold/black Baldwin Motion Vette?

Two different cars. Pantara owns the 1st Phase III GT made. Original Monoco Orange/black stripe car (non-headlight/tail panel conversion car).. Supposedly bought by a Pittsburg Steeler (not sure which one) and repainted black/gold..

69Motions car is a later car than Pantaras and has the full Phase III GT headlight/tail panel conversion and also has the side pillar scoops.

Perhaps Larry and 69Motion can throw up some pics of their cars to end the confusion.

I am sure that this is confusing to everybody. There were two Gold with a black stripe Motion vetts made. One was a non Baldwin car and the other was a documented Baldwin car. The confusion is that both of them are registered on this forum with almost the same nickname when they are on here. 69motionvet is George, the owner of the Baldwin car and you can go back and see pic of it when it was on Ebay and was red w/silver stripes. 69motion is Jeff, the owner of the Motion vette that I have been searching for and just as soon as we can we will both share the history of our cars with everybody. We talked last night and can now have a place to start on the history of our cars. Trust me there will be more just as soon as we can be sure of the facts.

Hey Larry - Thanks for your posting. We're thinking of taking the car to the Chevy show in Hampton VA in July. If you're going lets get together!
