I have a performance magazine from '68 and there is an add in there for Motion Performance.

396-375's complete, starting @ $525!

Sure I'll take a couple. lol.

What happened to the L-88 you purchased??

The engine is still with the car in Pa. When I bought the short block I failed to realize my 375 HP heads would not work on those 13 to 1 pistons so I called Yenko back up to enquire on the price of the open chambered heads and they told me it would be another 450.00! So I just took the pistons out and exchanged them for stock 425 HP pistons. Worked real well! Car turned mid 11s.
