I was reading about that on this site and CT. I'm a little confused; do I need a center link AND idler arm AND pittman arm? </div></div>

I learned a little since I did mine..........Basically you just need the 67 Idler Arm assy and a 67 Centerlink, and a 3/8&quot; spacer between the idler arm and frame....You won't believe the difference....adding 67 steering arms and a &quot;67&quot; Pitman arm would bring everything to 67 standards , but it would work either way.....Whatever parts you use.....in assembly.....get the Center link parallel to the front crossmember in both directions and then mount the center link to the frame.........I put the threaded mounting holes in the spacer plate and when everything was in position.........I welded the plate to the frame, then I drilled thru the frame rail and then tapped the thread thru the spacer plate so the bolt was screwed into the frame also......lock washers and lock tight.......Align and you are ready to drive with corrected steering geometry........no more squealing tires or black scrub marks in the drive way..........Don't know how that error got past the suspension guys back then

Look at the difference in the Idler arm pivot points and geometry

Thanks Ken,

I followed your explanation until you said to mount the center link to the frame. Do you mean the idler arm? Just want to make sure. Thanks Ken!
