Gary “The Local Brush” Kupfer did some of the paint work for Motion but I think they used other local shops as needed

The orange 69 may be a different car then the white one.
Heavy went to the 70 Camaro as many did in 1970 but back to a 69 as many did in mid 1970s as the rules changed

The 1969 red white and blue Motion sponsored Ferrara/Zule car was run in mid 70s
The white Heavy 69 looks like from same mid 70s period so he may have bought a different 69 with updated chassis unless he saved the orange one

side notes, The orange car has those Mustang GT mirrors Joel liked to use on the Corvettes and other MP cars
The Heavy orange car has 396 emblems, that was something street racers did

It is my understanding that Joey Buttafuco's brother (at his father Cap's auto body in Baldwin) painted some Motion cars I hah heard. If you haven't found him already, (I think he is banned from the site here.?) find Dan Palchanes, he spent years detailing and chasing Motion stuff

I sent an email to Dan for a couple of days ago, but no sign of life from him.
I try to find the Brothers, Eddy (Google Eyes) and Freddy Leyte that had Heavy's 69 Camaro in front of their shop in Wantagh.

I hope I am wrong about this, but I seem to remember notice of a hold out and police surrounding Dan's house and a suicide? May be confused with someone else? Can anyone confirm?
