Just got our NCRS letter back today. It looks like they are still in business which coincidentally started in 1969. I'm hoping that the first year is always the most memorable. I'll call them this week.

So I dressed it up under the hood a little better for the time being since it looked so horrible before that. Installed a set of original 1969 no dripper valve covers and a cowl air cleaner. Anything looks better than no air cleaner and rusty chrome moroso valve covers.

Thanks John and Lauren McKee for the cool vintage Camaro jacket she can rock while out cruising.

Very nice Matt. Turn those non droppers around! The crossed flags go on the passenger side. I know it's easier to put oil in, but I believe the cut outs on the valve covers around the intake only line up one way. After all, it is the next Z off the line after mine! Lol

Good stuff Matt. A little more cleaning under hood and she'll be in good shape.

Nice seeing you @ Carlisle...

I noticed that after I installed them. That's what I get for being in a hurry. Engine has to come out soon anyway so I'll take care of it then.

Just an update. Back in September, I pulled the engine because it was smoking above 3500 rpm and there was oil pumping out of everywhere. This is ok because the car did this when I bought it so I knew the engine had to come out eventually.

This ended up being (one of) my problems.

I feel bad because my wife's been bugging me to get it finished up but I've been collecting parts (thanks to some of the members here) and getting another engine together to put into the car.
