JB, that sux; I love the T-Type Regals even better than a GN.
Finding a clean one today is a major feat, unfortunately.

That's it parked in front of my LeMans blue 69 Nova SS, circa 1976. Dennis, this picture was taken in Virden, IL....your neck of the woods! ![]() And here's the only picture I have of the other one, that my friend Rick owned....that's it behind the maroon one and the white one. It was a Type LT/Rally Sport/Z28, 4 speed. My friends and I bought a total of eight new 73 Z28's, and these are 4 of them. Picture taken circa 1973 at Don's Union 76 station, North Aurora, IL. ![]()

Nova looks like Sam's beautiful, unrestored car! What a time capsule.
Phil - those Norwood guys would really appreciate this youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/embed/nd5WGLWNllA?rel=0 |

As a fellow German it makes me feel good to see technology put to practicallity.
I don't see it as putting <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">"assembly line"</span></span> labor out of work, rather creating work for the engineers, designers, computer software geeks and machinest's that built such a complex.... Lets hope they don't run out of COAL. Power outages would suck... ![]() DH BTW that is a COOL factory

But the impressions of the line they keep are pretty much based in the assembly era that they worked in. Some like the body drop era when the cars were mostly hand assembled while some prefer the technology of the Towveyor era. The 8mm and the video that exists today puts it all in prospective. |
