There is other things on that Trim Tag that show its not a "real born with Trim Tag".

Carleen would you explain what all is wrong with the tag? I know that they changed to X code mid year but honestly figured they could have done a few earlier. The more knowledge the better. Thanks

The "D80" did not appear on trim tags until late May of 69. Also, the P-O-P is a fake. It's a good looking car, but not sure why the owner or previous owner would make obviously fake tags. Just call it what it is, a nice looking BM replica.

Spent a lot of money on the car, and it looks nice, but put inexpensive, $38.00 universal fit, late model, Lakewood traction bars on it from Summit.......period correct, heavy duty Traction Action ones are out there. There is a pair on ebay right now.
