I remember when that mirrored material was big on the firewalls of the custom cars.. My neighbor had it on his 79 Rally Sport Camaro..

Definitely a great time period. I have dozens of pics from 1979-1980 Street Machine Nats in Indy, I'll have to dig them out and scan them.
