I did do that but the Dealership is long gone. But I have contacted the Histoical soc. in that city where it was. But I think I found the 4th generation of the dealership and awaiting an answer it they have any photos they will share.

Try Googling the word storm mixed w/ "Peterson Motors" or "Peterson Pontiac" in quotes as it results in lots o' hits that may be worth digging into including old newspapers etc..

Zone 14, Dealer 519, Peterson Motors. I have now found the son of that Pontiac dealer it was in Storm Lake Iowa. The son e-mailed me some pictures. As far as I know that dealer has never been exposed. But I have verified that it is true to be.It has been gone since the mid 80's. His dad started it in or around mid 40's

If you still have this car , or mainly just still have a copy of the PHS Invoice you were speaking of --- i can probably tell you more about it than anyone else can. It should be a multi-invoice car. But PHS doesn't always have all the copies on file for every multi-invoice car. They also don't automatically include or search out for multiple invoices in every case. Please post a copy of the Invoice - or send me a PM . Will also need body build week from trim tag. Scrutinizing invoices is one of my hobbies Constantly gaining more info and data and knowledge. Quote:

Sadly, Ed passed away a couple years ago (June 2013). I was kind of watching for an estate sale or to see one of his cars come up for auction but never did see any activity in that regard, so I don't know where the information ended up. However - if you would like to extrapolate here (or elsewhere) there are several of us always willing to learn something new. K

I read some of his other posts about a Blue Angel Corvette. My apologies and condolences to all that knew him. He had posted 3 images from P-bucket that are no longer valid. I was supposing maybe 1 of them was his invoice ? Did anyone perhaps grab a right-click save of his invoice ? Can't do much without a copy , and his trim tag date. Was also going to send him back to PHS to check files for additional invoice(s). Thanks Keith |
