Who knows..Maybe they are his Dads ? In his profile he shows a pic of a RS Camaro. If you had one of the L88's wouldn't you show a pic of it ? Maybe his family does have a L88 but not a big tank car ? I remember when we booted a guy off of the site that was claiming to own just about every car that was in the Dave C collection. He was even showing people pics of Daves cars.

Like the guy with the new 69 Yenko Camaro with 200 original miles and new 68 Hemi car just cleaned up running in the 10's. We're still waiting for his arrival at the supercar reunion!

[/ QUOTE ]All the original poster asked is what is it worth. He has his answer. He is under no obligation to prove what he has regardless of anyone else's interest in what it may or may not be.

[/ QUOTE ] If the owner really wanted to keep things quiet and find out what his car is worth then he should have contacted a high ranking NCRS member not post about it on an open forum

My thoughts exactly!

Is the pic he linked gone for everyone else too?.
I went back to take a another look at it as I wanted to look closer at the placard on the wall that noted a '67 Vin and options..
If the pic is gone did anyone else check it out and/or note if it was for a coupe or roadster?.

I think there's a good chance the guy may be for real!.

I believe the info board on the wall was for a 435 HP L71 tri power car and did not list a big tank as an option. I have it blown up on another computer as well.\\

Between this and the L89 Nova thread today it feels like power of the internet has turned us into a bunch of sinister operators?.
