![]() Quote:
George Hurst was a master of marketing, his most famous creation being Miss Hurst (although he can't take all the credit for Linda Vaughn). ![]() Bob Riggle was the driver of the Hurst Hemi under Glass and so I suspect he built one of his own, although he could have perhaps provided a bit more of a distinction when naming his car. Or maybe that was the point. You all may already know this - but - the Hurst car was not intended to be a "wheelstander". It was supposed to be a straight up match race car, with the engine positioned for best traction. However, the first time they nailed the throttle and the front end came up, (and after a change of clothes) they were like "Holy Cow! I think we're onto something here!" K

![]() ![]() Mother Nature’s frozen wonder can freeze solid and come back to life as if nothing happened! When winter comes, the Wood Frog’s body produces a unique antifreeze-like substance, allowing it to survive icy temperatures. Its heart stops, breathing ceases, and it freezes like a popsicle. But guess what? Once spring thaws the chilly landscape, the Wood Frog thaws right along with it, hops away, and continues its daily froggy life. Now, that’s a superpower that’d make even the toughest superhero green with envy – or shall we say, frog-green! |
