I was looking at the 1969 US Nationals photo. No roll bars that I can see. The two Oldsmobiles both appear to be 442 models with the "Smothers Brothers Racing Team" colors. Looks like a Land of NED (Div.1) wagon with the striped roof. Class racing was ultra-competitive and took more than money to win. Those Musser Brothers are still around and have their '57 alive and kicking! Lotsa cool stuff on the '68. Rotonda's Speed Shop, engine by Lee Crupi (who is still around). Neat photos........

This was posted on a Ford FE board. The pic is of the guy's Dad and his '67 390 Mustang fastback that he bought new but within a short time was running as a '68 428CJ car (note all the things going on with the hood). The car behind is his friend's new '69 Hemi Roadrunner. It just looks like a perfect period picture to me.
