 Most sharks haven't changed in hundreds of millions of years. Nature's evolution can only go so far. But a few, like this Lepord Shark are still evolving and it can do something incredible . . . it "walks" on land. That's right - it leaves it's water environment and using it front fins walks. Where does it walk to? It goes from one tidal pool to the next looking for food. Found only in Australia.

 Found mostly off the coast of Greenland the Basking Shark is the second largest fish in the ocean - the Whale Shark being the largest - but only by about 5 to 8 feet. Sort of like the difference between a Greyhound Bus and a 2 axle Dump Truck. Like Whale Sharks the Basking Sharks are filter feeders.
