So what are you going to bring to SCR? A rental car?

Good point, Freddie. But there’s always next year! It’s an event I really want to do. And I broke the news to Bob about not bringing it to MCACN this year and although he was massively disappointed, he did ask me at the end of the conversation, “Who am I speaking with again?”

Man those are cool photos, Steve. And yeah, this was my first small block Mopar too. I had always heard of these but never knew they really existed. I thought all they built were big blocks!

Updates this weekend! The car should be on the rotisseire!

Cheers
Dave

Oh well. You can still come and watch, and let that sick feeling overtake you knowing that you could have been out there smoking tires, shifting gears and exploding clutches with the rest of us. And being the super Dave that you are, you still have time to get something else ready to run.

Dave, don't you have another 'Cuda in one of your many warehouses out there at Area 51? A 440 6bbl? Consider the Grape Escape to be a practice run for your 440+6 Cuda.

I've been following along for a while and I love the crusty 'cuda. It reminds me of a cross between my two cars... a beater class '68 H/O and a relatively presentable 'cuda.

I was heading down a path to restore the H/O, but I've been having so much fun driving it that I'm not motivated to restore it yet. Maybe MCACN needs a display for cars that started as barn finds but quit rehab halfway through

Either way, the 'cuda is going to look sharp restored. Gotta love an In Violet, shaker, 4 speed car... looking forward to both of your restoration work!

Luke

Ok, those are both bad-mammajammas! one last drive around the Ranch before the teardown for paint begins tomorrow. Of course I had to test out the traction of the F70s just because. Kelly was ready with the bags so everything will be labeled for Steve for reassembly. Eeeeevvvryyyy nut, bolt, screw will be inventoried. All bags labeled "Cuda" BWAHAHAHAHA.. cough..... cough....oh, sorry. Don't know what came over me....

Cheers
