I know that the people that owned the big house that went down the river didn't have flood insurance and are out everything there...it was their vacation house(on the local news)...they had a couple hundred thousand left to pay also...OUCH!

"And"......I heard that the DNR is coming after him to pay for the "Clean-up" costs of getting the house debris out of the River...........

WOW...talk about adding insult to injury...Ken, do you know how far it floated away - did it make it to the river?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes.....It made it to the River, But ...down by the Rivers Edge Resort the river got Real shallow and it probably broke up or got stuck in that area......

I feel for the people who the DNR is trying to screw

I would bet, however, that they will rebuild (and improve!) the area that washed out causing the lake to drain, and the lake will eventually be restored

I read that they hope to have the washed out areas repaired and the lake refilled by late July. Seems awfully optimistic, but I hope they can make it happen.
