I watched that musclecar episode with the engines! And If I remember correct those engines they showed could have been bored no more than .050 and use availible technology in todays parts! So in order for me to believe those were stock I would have to see them torn down! I do not believe a stock 426 Hemi made 800 HP! I would say around mid 5's or maybe get to 6 though with some QUALITY TUNING.

SO long AHR. Its too bad that the people writing the show were not car people with experience on the street. It would of been nice to see some detail complete restoration methods
from start to finnish.It would of made the show a lot more interesting than the sh--t they were showing. PJ |

If those guys knew what restoration was, they wouldn't have gone through so many 56 bodies in the Junkyard Dog episode. Guys in the salt belt know what "restoration" means. Have Discovery Channel come EAST!
