All the GTs were pretty much unique with one exception. They ALL had the slanted back rear window. Thats what made the car a Phase III GT. Here are a couple good threads on the GTs.

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show...5/fpart/1/vc/1

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show...0/page/9#59844

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show...1/fpart/2/vc/1

and of course the best thread and info anywhere on the Phase III GT Corvettes.. (Worth reading again all of you).. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show...84/#Post211284

and the worst.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show.../page/0#210130

You should tell your friend to take his sign down. Nice car tho.

Ed, thanks for looking up those links. I had not seen all of them and it was great to read Larry's posts. For a moment it felt like he was still with us .

anybody know how to do that laid back rear window? Is (was) there fiberglass available? This car I have now HAD a laid back rear window but the underlying dec was never cut. Prior owner took it out and destroyed it in the process. Anyone have any thoughts on this modification? Thanks.
